The city hall of Galați announces that it will provide transport in optimal conditions for around 1,000 Galaţi supporters who have expressed their intention to be present in the stands of the municipal stadium in Sibiu for the “Romania Cup” Final. During this event, the flag team of our city, Oțelul, will compete for the trophy with the Corvinul Hunedoara team. The public procurement launched for round-trip rail transport services amounts to 246,800 lei without VAT, and the award criterion is “the lowest price”.
“The transport of Galați supporters will be done with a special train, without intermediate stops on the route, the journey to the destination being scheduled on the day of the match. After the match, under the same conditions, the special railway race will bring the fans back to Galați. We want them to be happy about winning the trophy.
We remind you that, for football lovers from Galaţi, the City Hall will also ensure the live broadcast of the “Romania Cup” Final in the open air on a 50 square meter screen. The LED screen, with the related sound system, will be located on the esplanade at Păpădie. The game in Sibiu will take place on Wednesday, May 15, from 20:30. On the portal of the local public administration, a purchase was launched for “public rail transport services on the Galati-Sibiu route and return”. The estimated value of the contract is 246,800 lei without VAT, and the bids are expected until May 10, 2024.
