Candidates aspiring to a chair in Olt county are preparing to take the written exam of this year’s tenure competition. Those interested can register until May 17, with the written test to be held two months later. IȘJ Olt has published the lists of tenured and non-tenured positions, which can be occupied for a fixed period by those interested who pass the exam.
Hundreds of people from Olteni are expected to register for the tenure exam for the dozens of chairs that can be filled for an indefinite period of time or for those temporarily available. Some were facing such an exam for the first time, others had tried their luck in the past years, all of them admit that they have emotions.
The registration period started yesterday and will end on May 17. Those interested in participating in the exam can submit their file daily during this period, between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. The Olt County School Inspectorate has made public the chairs put up for competition, but also the fractions of chairs that can be occupied for a specified period by those who passed exam but they don’t have chairs to be tenured.
The practical tests of the tenure exam will be held until July 5, and the written test will take place on July 17. To become tenured, teachers must achieve a minimum grade of 7 in both the written exam and the classroom inspection in the job profile. Those who wish to substitute must obtain at least grade 5.
