In search of creative writing techniques. An organizational trainer from Sibiu creates a group of lovers of letters who want to improve their literary skills

An organizational trainer from Sibiu, who says he’s in love with writing, wants to create a group of literature and creative writing enthusiasts to experiment together with various writing techniques. It announces the organization of a practical workshop at the Astra Library to support the growth and constant improvement of the literary skills of each participant.

The ASTRA Sibiu Library will host in its premises the “INKspiration” Creative Writing Circle, designed by Gabriel Moldovan, organizational trainer and young writer and dedicated to all those who are passionate about writing and those who want to exercise their literary talent and creativity.

With a maximum capacity of 14 members, “INKspiration” is aimed at participants between the ages of 25 and 50 and will be held bi-monthly in a physical format in one of the library spaces.

Those interested are invited to send a message to the e-mail address cercscrierecreativa[@]gmail.com, including: a brief personal introduction, age, details of relevant previous experience and motivation for writing, as well as a short piece of prose of your own creation. Shortlisted candidates will receive further details about the first meeting of the Creative Writing Circle, which will take place on 15 May 2024.

Tell us more details about yourself.

I’m Gabriel Moldovan, I’m 44 years old, I’m an Organizational Trainer by profession. In love with writing since high school, I published a volume of poetry and prose, as well as various literary publications and anthologies.

Where did the idea of ​​organizing the creative writing circle come from?

Starting from 2021, I started participating in literary creation camps. There I noticed how easy it is to create quality content in a context designed to facilitate learning and practicing the craft of writing. And supporting a group that looks in the same direction is again an intense motivational factor.

What is the goal?

Inkspiration members are committed to building a community where personal experiences are shared, constructive feedback is given and received, and various writing techniques are experimented with. Hands-on workshops and feedback sessions are designed to support the constant growth and improvement of writing skills of each participant.

How long will the workshop last?

The first meeting of the circle is scheduled for May 15, 2024. The workshops are free. We do not have an end date. As long as there is a desire to meet in this format, I trust that a way will be found to do so.

What do you expect from future participants after the workshop is over?

Let’s manage to access the joy of writing more easily. Both within the writing circle and in private.
