Today, May 9, the reception was held at the end of the works related to the project “Increasing the energy efficiency of the Administrative Building from Răzoare str., no. 3” Slobozia, building where the Ialomița Blood Transfusion Center will also operate.

The project was financed through the Regional Operational Program 2014-2020, Funding Axis 3 – Supporting the transition to a low-carbon economy. The total value was 5,833,901.38 lei (VAT included), and the general objective – energy efficiency through the estimated annual decrease in greenhouse gases (equivalent tons of CO2), respectively the decrease in the annual primary energy consumption of public buildings ( kWh/year).

The public administrator of Ialomița county, Alexandru Potor, together with the vice presidents of the Ialomița County Council, Cătălin Grigore and Alexandru Dinu, together with the project implementation team, claimed that “this project is one of the projects that will bring major benefits to the people of Ialomița”.

Alexander Potor“This project was long awaited, because it was marked by many difficulties. Although it seems easy, it was not. I want to thank Mrs. Valentina Brașoveanu, the project manager, and the team from the County Council, for the efforts they made during the implementation. This building was not originally dedicated to hosting the Ialomita Blood Transfusion Center. Fortunately, together with the financier, ADR Sud Muntenia, we managed to find ways to modify this project with European funding. This is a living example that projects with European funding can be modified, can be adapted, in such a way that they respond as best as possible to the needs of providing quality public services to citizens. If it hadn’t been like that, the Transfusion Center would probably have remained in the area of the County Emergency Hospital. Fortunately, things are not like that. Mrs. Director Cruceat found a very beautiful house, now renovated and brought to a better standard of functionality as a result of the investment that was made with European funds, which were fully absorbed. Congratulations to the project team and thanks to the builder who was with us and with whom we managed to find solutions to finance this project and bring it to completion. (…) I congratulate Mr. Cornățeanu and I am glad from the bottom of my heart that the local entrepreneurs, from Slobozia, from Ialomița county, are the ones who work on the construction sites and objectives in the county, of course winners following public tenders. Thank you for the quality of the works. Know that during the works I had the privilege of seeing how meticulously a company from Slobozia works, with how much attention to details, and I congratulate him”, he said Alexandru Potor, the public administrator of Ialomița county.

According to the project data, the works mainly concerned the thermal insulation of the external walls of the masonry building with expanded polystyrene, protected with isoheat plaster, also the floor to the bridge was thermally insulated with polyurethane, heavy traffic flooring was installed over the 5 cm thermal system , the old wooden carpentry was renovated with modern carpentry made of PVC profiles with heat-insulating glass, roof consolidation works, interior design works, repairs to interior finishes and reinforced concrete elements, the realization of thermal installations, two heat pumps were carried out air-water, 2 solar panels for hot water, construction of a ventilation system with 27 heat recuperators, restoration of the interior and safety lighting system, construction of a fire detection, signaling and alarm system.

Catalin Grigore“I am extremely happy because today I see the end of a project that I have experienced “da capo al fine” with Mrs. Valentina Brașoveanu and the team from the County Council, from the moment of submitting the funding request, from its signing, the part of creating the technical documentation, the tender for the assignment of the works and then the actual execution, for which I also highlight the way in which the builder translated into reality what he received through the technical project. Today is one of the series of events that we have started for some time and that we are going to continue, receiving emblematic buildings for Slobozia, for which the County Council undertook not only to administer them, but also to modernize them, to the citizens and mention here the Ionel Perlea Cultural Center. (…) Today we receive this building on Răzoare street and we are preparing to also receive the works done at the County Museum of History, the County Military Center is also nearing completion, in the same terms of execution and rendering of the utility that this building, and last but not least the building of the Special Vocational School “Ion Teodorescu” where we have the same builder and I am sure it will look at least as beautiful as this building we are in today. I congratulate the implementation team and the builder, and I hope with all my heart to see you at the other receptions when the works are finished, so that the citizens of Slobozia, the people of Ialomi, can benefit from these buildings at modern standards, as we promised,” he said. the vice president of CJ Ialomița, Cătălin Grigore.

Within this project, in addition to the space where the Ialomița Blood Transfusion Center will operate, administrative functions for the County Council are also maintained. More precisely, certain departments within the institution will carry out their activities here, such as the Environment Department, ADI ECOO 2009, the Control Body, etc.

Raluca Cruceat“Ever since the renovation of the Blood Transfusion Center, i.e. from August 2021, this space has proven to meet the legal requirements regarding the functional circuits established by Ministerial Order and meets the needs of a transfusion center. Moreover, after the completion of the project to increase the energy efficiency, this building is more spacious, cleaner, modern, warm, which makes us increase the quality of the medical act, by creating suitable spaces for both medical staff and donors of the blood of the county, by creating modern and welcoming spaces. I want to thank the County Council for the completion of this project, the technical team, the builder, the medical staff and the blood donors who accepted the noise of the construction site, all for a great good, for the benefit of the community”, he said Raluca Cruceat, director of the Ialomita Blood Transfusion Center.

In a press statement, the public administrator of the county, Alexandru Potor, stated that in the health area, more specifically at the County Hospital, there are projects in an advanced stage of completion.

He claimed that the new Emergency Reception Unit is now functional, thanking all those who worked there, doctors, assistants, for making great efforts working in particularly difficult conditions, but also to the patients who arrived at the UPU during this period , for understanding. Also, Alexandru Potor claimed that the Specialty Clinic is 99.99% ready, being in the phase of receiving approvals, and the new Operator Block is somewhere between 85 and 90% completion. Regarding the modernization of the hospital, the works are at an advanced stage, they are on schedule, and they will be ready by the end of this year.
