“There is no genuine democracy in Romania. We were driven by the new nomenclature and the new security”

Ludovic Orban, the president of Forța Dreptei, called for the fight for freedom and democracy, at the beginning of the electoral campaign for the June 9 elections.

Orban participated, in Timișoara, in the rally organized by the United Right Alliance to launch the electoral campaign.

“Timișoara is the first city that became free. Timișoara and Timișul must remain guaranteed free of pesedism and free of everything that means the control mechanisms that are anti-democratic, that are used by the two formations that today imagine that the whole country is theirs.”said Ludovic Orban in front of supporters of the United Right Alliance.

The former prime minister, the president of Forța Dreptei, spoke about the lack of democracy in Romania generated, in his opinion, by the fact that the Timisoara Proclamation was not actually implemented in practice.

“Today, there is no authentic democracy in Romania. Even if the Timișoara Revolution won, it did not win completely because the Timișoara Proclamation was not put into practice. Because those who should have completely disappeared from Romania’s control buttons still remained at the control buttons. We were led by the new nomenclature and the new security which practiced exactly the same means, of course, it no longer used the iron fist, it used the glove, let’s not call it velvet, but much more refined instruments to choke any free man , to prevent any kind of opposition, to try to keep society under control and to try to continue to take the lion’s share of everything produced by the people who create, who work, who have companies, who have liberal professions in Romania . This is the reality.”explained Orban.

“At fight!”

Orban finally announced the presence of the United Right on the battlefield: “The United Right is not the USR, it is not the PMP, it is not the Right Force. The United Right is just the nucleus around which all the people who want to live freely in Romania, who want an authentic democracy, who will no longer want tyrants to step on their necks, will coagulate. (…) The United Right is on the battlefield. But we cannot win the fight without all those who want democracy, freedom coming with us. (…) To the battle, my dears! Let’s raise the whole area of ​​society that can no longer bear the heel on the neck. Let’s shout freedom! Victory!”

The leaders of USR and PMP were also present at the rally in Timișoara.

“The United Right is starting to become that political model that scares those who govern by lies, through tools they use to blackmail our mayors, to make files on us, to recruit our local elected officials, to show that they can only stay in power through these communist grabs.”said Eugen Tomac, PMP president.

For Tomac, June 9 is the day when “we will be able to get our revenge”.

“The stakes of the June 9 election are huge; Romanians must once again demonstrate their attachment to the European project. The European Union project is a fascinating one. We are different nations, we speak different languages, but at the same time we are together. This is the true legacy left by our forefathers. (…) If we hadn’t been in the EU today, be sure that the clock would have started again from Moscow. Today, Putin fails to annex Ukraine and punish our neighbors who have chosen the European path and break away from Moscow for good because we are there. The EU is doing the right thing. The North Atlantic Alliance is doing the right thing. In Romania, only the servants of Russia condemn the correct policy it is doing. And we have to tell Romanians these things in the coming days. (…) Then we will be fully integrated, when we fully enter the Schengen zone, the Euro zone, then we will be respected.”said Eugen Tomac.

Drula: Everywhere in the country we fight with a political clan, PSD-PNL

“The Liberal Party, the party of Brătieni” no longer exists, said the USR president in his speech in Timișoara.

“We are not facing political opponents. Everywhere in the country we fight with a political clan, PSD-PNL. Everywhere, Ciolacu with Ciucă, Robu with Simonis, Rareș Bogdan with Gabriela Firea united against us. Do you still remember how Rareș howled against PSD four years ago? Who appears today on the posters with Tudose and Olguța Vasilescu? Today, PNL is nothing more than a branch of PSD. The Liberal Party, the party of the Bratians, no longer exists. The party of Iohannis, Ciucă and Lucica Bode is not the same PNL. It is a PNL that abandoned the middle class, that in recent years looted the state budget, the budgets of the town halls, side by side with PSD thieves. Buzatu with the trunk, Cherecheș with flight from the country, Iulian Dumitrescu Lamborghini and more recently we have Bode cabanuta and they all have Klaus palat as their boss. We laugh at the trouble, but it’s no laughing matter. I want to send them a message together: it’s over.”said Cătălin Drula.
