According to meteorologists, until 11:00 p.m., there will be periods of severe atmospheric instability, which will be manifested by torrential downpours, frequent electrical discharges, hail, intensification of wind and storms in Oltenia, north-west Muntenia, west and south-west Transylvania , as well as in the Western and Southern Carpathians.
In short intervals of time or through accumulation, the water quantities will be 20-25 l/m2 and, isolated, over 40 l/m2.
“Such phenomena will be reported in limited areas and in the rest of the country”, note the ANM specialists.
The yellow code is valid in the counties: Sălaj, Cluj, Bihor (center, south and east), Alba, Hunedoara, Sibiu, Arad (center and east), Caraş-Severin (eastern half), Timiş (east), Gorj, Mehedinţi, Vâlcea, Argeş, Olt, Dolj, Braşov (southern part), Dâmboviţa (in the north), Prahova (north of the county).
In the Capital, the thermal values will decrease compared to the previous interval, so they will be around the multi-year averages. The sky will be cloudy especially in the afternoon and evening when there will be showers possibly accompanied by electrical discharges and short-term intensification of the wind.
The maximum temperature will be 21-23 degrees, states ANM.
