Bucharest Airports National Company (CNAB) announces, on Wednesday, that the order to start work on a new parking lot at Henri Coandă International Airport Bucharest, on an area of over 20,000 square meters, has been issued.
“Bucharest Airports National Company continues the infrastructure modernization process and announces that on Wednesday, May 8, 2024, the order was issued to start the construction of a new parking lot at the Henri Coandă International Airport Bucharest”, CNAB transmitted on Wednesday.
The cited source stated that the investment is aimed at large-scale works to create a modern parking lot for airport passengers.
The execution period is 6 months from the date of the start of the works and provides for the creation of 662 new parking spaces, of which 66 will have the necessary infrastructure for the installation of electric car charging devices.
The contract, worth 14.895 million lei, excluding VAT, was awarded by the association SSAB AG – Bemel AG – SSAB International Electric.
Bucharest Airports National Company also announces that it has already initiated the steps for the construction of other parking lots, through which 1,600 new parking spaces will be arranged, as well as for the modernization and consolidation of the multi-storey car park Arrivals.
