A road incident resulting in material damage took place in a commune in Neamț, where a drunk driver collided with the car of a 20-year-old woman.

“On May 7, at around 10:30 p.m., the police officers from the Urecheni Rural Police Department were alerted to the occurrence of a road accident in the Timișești locality, resulting only in material damage.

Following the checks carried out by the police, it emerged that while a 47-year-old woman was maneuvering to exit a parking lot, she collided with a car driven by a young woman, aged 20 years.” – the Neamt Police reported

Breathalyzer testing showed that the 47-year-old woman had a concentration of 1.15 mg/l of pure alcohol in her breath, a level significantly above the legal limit.

Following this incident, the police opened an investigation into the crime of driving a vehicle under the influence of alcohol.
