Huge investment in Prahova: 15 million euros for the opening of a factory. How many new jobs will be created?

The Minister of Economy, Entrepreneurship and Tourism Ştefan-Radu Oprea announced that Borusan Pipe will open, in a few months, a new production capacity in the Alinso Industrial Park, within the radius of Aricestii Rahtivani commune, in Prahova county. He added that the production of pipes that are part of automobiles will start here, and the customers are Dacia and Ford Otosan, as well as companies from Germany, Slovakia, Hungary, the Czech Republic or Poland.

The company will open the new production capacity in a few months. The investment is 15 million euros and could be doubled, if the market demands it. In the first phase, 60 jobs will be created.

“Borusan Pipe will open in a few months a new production capacity in the Alinso Industrial Park, within the radius of the Aricestii Rahtivani commune. Here the production of pipes that are included in the composition of automobiles will begin. The clients are Dacia and Ford Otosan, but also companies from Germany, Slovakia, Hungary or Poland. The machines are installed and tested. The investment is 15 million euros with the possibility of doubling it in the shortest time, if the market demands it the creation of sixty new jobs. But the stake is the desire of the Borusan group (with a total turnover of 7.9 billion dollars) to diversify its investments in other fields of activity, not only in that of components for the automotive industry “, wrote Ştefan-Radu Oprea on Facebook on Wednesday.

The Minister of Economy also said that “when investors, with Romanian or foreign capital, find support from local, county or governmental authorities, projects develop on time, generating jobs and prosperity for the localities where they are located”.
