With this decision, the only people who can visit Vlad Pascu are the lawyers, not the parents.

Vlad Pascu contested this sanction, suing the Poarta Albă Penitentiary. The first deadline was set for June 6.

The management of the Poarta Albă Penitentiary opened a disciplinary investigation against Vlad Pascu, after he had on April 9 a telephone conversation with Marian “Ceaușescu” mediated by his father, Mihail Pascu, and posted on the activist’s Facebook page.

In the discussion, Vlad Pascu told Marian “Ceaușescu” that “I have a lot of regrets”, and “I would start on a completely different path and make a different life for myself”.

The spokesperson of the Poarta Albă Penitentiary, Nicoleta Bărăitaru, said then that Vlad Pascu risks from a warning to the prohibition of certain rights, such as the right to be visited, receive packages, make purchases for a period of up to three months .

Vlad Pascu, 20 years old, has been in preventive detention since August 20, 2023, one day after he drove into a group of 8 young people near the 2 Mai resort and killed two of them.

He was sent to court in October for culpable homicide, culpable bodily harm, leaving the scene of an accident and driving a vehicle under the influence of psychoactive substances. The case was submitted for resolution to the Mangalia Court.
