On the first day of Easter, two firefighters from ISU Neamț, Andrei and Lucian, rescued a woman injured in a serious road accident at the intersection of Neamț and Iasi counties.
“On the first day of Easter, Andrei and Lucian, two firefighters from the Roman Detachment, after finishing their duty shift, while moving towards the house, stopped in the area of the intersection connecting Neamt and Iași counties because the road traffic was stopped.

There had just been a road accident in which two cars with three people were involved. The drivers were out of the cars, but a woman, a passenger in one of the cars, complained of pain and could not move.” – ISU Neamț transmitted
Andrei and Lucian, noticing that the traffic participants were trying to extract the victim inappropriately, immediately intervened to coordinate the rescue.
“Andrei and Lucian told them that they should not do this because they could do more harm to her and that she should be extracted carefully, using the equipment of the SMURD special vehicle.” – said the German firefighters
Lucian acted quickly, carefully immobilizing the victim, while Andrei disconnected the battery terminals to avoid the risk of a fire and cleared the road.
“Both colleagues behaved naturally, as if they had been sent for intervention, only they were not with the ambulance. A short time later, colleagues from ISU Iași arrived with the SMURD ambulance and took the victim.
