The “Hermann Oberth” Territorial Aeroclub in Sibiu will host the Open Doors Day on June 1. Participants will have the opportunity to enjoy a full day of aerial activities, including witnessing skydiving and exploring aircraft.
Especially for the little ones, the Sibiu Territorial Aeroclub “Hermann Oberth” opens its doors wide, on Saturday, June 1, between 09:30 and 15:30. Children and parents can thus celebrate Children’s Day among the aircraft, they will have the opportunity to see how a day of activity at an aero club takes place, they will meet the staff and get familiar with the aircraft and the skydiving activity.
The Territorial Aeroclub “Hermann Oberth” Sibiu is located behind the Sibiu International Airport. Access is through Turnișor, on George Topârceanu street. On the day of the event, guides will be present to direct visitors to the hangar.
“We welcome both the little ones and the big ones with open arms. Entry is free and everyone is welcome. Our flying club always has its doors open, especially for children and young people, because the microbe of flying is caught from childhood. We hope that among the little visitors we will discover future pilots and paratroopers who will represent the country at the profile competitions”, the organizers said.
If the weather will be unfavorable and will not allow the activities scheduled for Saturday, they will be postponed to Sunday, June 2.
Parachute tandem flights, an unforgettable experience
For adrenaline junkies or those who want to overcome their fear of flying, there is a unique opportunity to experience free fall, but not in any way, but with professional people and at a speed of up to 200 km/h. On June 1 and 2 you have the unique opportunity to experience tandem skydiving.
Appointments are made in the following time slots:

- 11:30 a.m. – 4 appointments
- 14:00 – 4 appointments
- 16:30 – 4 appointments
