Over a hundred drivers were left without a license during the Easter mini-holiday in Sibiu. Fines of 370,000 lei were issued

Between May 1 and 6, at the level of the Sibiu County Police Inspectorate, 72 specific actions were carried out, the police officers intervened in 445 events, of which 315 were notified by calling 112.

76 crimes were detected and 1,357 contraventional sanctions in the amount of over 495,000 lei were applied.

During the mentioned period, the Sibiu police were requested to intervene in 49 cases of domestic violence, on this occasion 5 provisional protection orders were issued.

On the road, the Sibiu police detected 25 traffic violations, detained 110 driver’s licenses, withdrew 65 registration certificates and applied 1,123 contraventional sanctions in the amount of 370,000 lei.

Most of the crimes found in the traffic regime were those of driving under the influence of alcohol.

At the same time, a man was detained for 24 hours, being criminally investigated for committing the offenses of driving without a license, driving under the influence of alcohol and driving an unregistered or unregistered vehicle on public roads.
