In the period 02-05 May the policemen of the Argeș Road Service, together with the policemen of the road structures within the municipal and city polices, continued the actions to prevent and combat the main causes of road accidents, as well as the detection of drivers who violate road legislation, especially aggressive driving, as well as drivers who choose to drive while under the influence of alcohol or psychoactive substances.

As a result of the violations found by the traffic police, they were applied 697 of contraventional sanctions, in total amount of approximately 134,000 of lions.
They were also detained 62 of driving licenses and were withdrawn 34 of registration certificates.
Arges policemen actions will continue for the prevention of road accidents, as well as for the drivers’ awareness of the risks they expose themselves to by not complying with traffic rules.
