Large-scale action by the Police in clubs in the municipality of Suceava that also included dozens of body checks

On the night of Sunday to Monday between 21:00 and 03:00, the Public Order Service within the IPJ Suceava carried out an extensive action to verify compliance with specific legislation in the field of private security in the municipality of Suceava and adjacent areas. The action was aimed at ensuring the compliance of security agents and economic operators with the rules in force.

Under the coordination of the SOP workers, forces were mobilized from various structures of the institution, along with the support of the Suceava Municipality Police, the Criminal Investigation Section, the Intelligence Service and Combating Economic Crime and the Gendarmerie.

As part of the controls carried out in and around the clubs in Suceava municipality, identification actions, body control, verification of vehicles and economic agents were undertaken.

The results of the action are as follows:

154 people were legitimized;

40 body checks were carried out;

21 people were verbally warned;

72 vehicles were controlled, of which 16 were subjected to breathalyzer testing;

27 economic agents were checked;

43 checks were carried out in the databases regarding persons and vehicles;

9 contraventional sanctions were applied, totaling 12,695 lei.

The sanctions concerned violations of Law 61/1991, GEO 195/2002, Law 333/2003, GEO no. 28/1999 and HG no. 301/2012.

Actions of this kind are part of the Suceava County Police’s efforts to maintain order and public safety in the community, ensuring that the law is respected and that citizens benefit from a safe environment and in accordance with legal norms.
