Residents of the Vărlibău and Vâlcănești areas of Prahova witnessed, yesterday, helplessly, extreme weather phenomena, announced by the ISU and through ro-alert messages. PHOTO-VIDEO at the end of the text.

Massive hail fell in the two municipalities, and the torrential rain increased the level of the Sărata stream, where a flood formed.

Thus, in Vâlcănești, three cars were washed away.

Fortunately, no casualties were reported.

Residents in the hail-affected areas complain that much of the agricultural crops have already been compromised.

They wonder why anti-hail missiles have not been launched to avoid this situation?
