A 58-year-old woman from the town of Borozel in Bihor was detained for 24 hours on Tuesday evening, after stabbing her son. According to eBihoreanul journalists, it was the woman who called 112. She would have told the investigators that her son committed suicide. The woman is to be presented to the Bihor Court with a proposal for preventive arrest under the charge of murder of a family member.

A 58-year-old woman from Borozel reported that her 34-year-old son stabbed himself in the chest with a knife and died.

Several police teams, from the Borod Rural Police Section 1, from the Criminal Investigation Service and forensic specialists, accompanied by a forensic doctor from the Bihor County Forensic Medicine Service, immediately went to the scene.

The investigations started showed, however, that the young man did not commit suicide, but was allegedly killed by his mother, following a spontaneous conflict, the journalists from eBihoreanul state.

As a result, the investigation was taken over in coordination by a prosecutor from the Prosecutor’s Office attached to the Bihor Court, who decided to detain the woman for 24 hours, in the Bihor Police Detention Center, and on Wednesday she will be presented to a judge of rights and freedoms from the Court Bihor, with a proposal for preventive arrest.

The investigations in the case are continued by the policemen of the Bihor Criminal Investigation Service, under the coordination of a prosecutor from the Prosecutor’s Office attached to the Bihor Court.
