On Good Friday, May 3, from 6:00 p.m., a new stage will be contested in the third tier, two of the conjuda players performing at home (CSU Alba Iulia and Industria Galda de Jos), and the other two on foreign grounds (CSM Unirea Alba Iulia and Metalurgistul Cugir).

*CS Universitat Alba Iulia (4th place, 34 points) – ACS Mediaș (3rd place, 38 points), in the play-off, at “Pielarul” in Sebeș.

After breaking up with Bruno Vienescu, the students provided the surprise and won in Ungheni. The first success and the first goals in the play-off, in the interim secured by Ghisa and Unchiaș. It is a confrontation without stakes, as the combatants, neighbors in the hierarchy, do not count in the calculations for the play-off places.

*Viitorul Cluj (5th place, 16 points) – CSM Unirea Alba Iulia (first place, 44 points), in the play-out (first stage of the return leg).

On the second consecutive trip, the “black and white” meet a team that gave the blow to Cugir, the Cluj having two successes in a row against some teams from Alba. The band led by Alexandru Pelici is the only one in Series 9 that did not experience the taste of failure in 2024, with the Unirists having 7 wins (5 consecutive) and a draw in the 8 games played.

*Industria Galda de Jos (6th place, 10 points) – ACS Tg. Mureș (2nd place, 37 points), in the play-out.

The hosts are heading for the return to League 4, after only one season, the “yellow-blues” having only one point from the last 12 confrontations and 5 successive defeats (the last one, also at home, with CSM Unirea Alba Iulia). The visitors have maximum points in the last 3 games without conceding a goal (goal difference 8-0).

*Avântul Reghin (4th place, 19 points) – Metalurgistul Cugir (3rd place, 28 points), in the play-out.

Two disappointed teams, without a goal in this end of the season, are trying to find the way to victory (the hosts – two consecutive defeats, the guests – 3 failures in a row). In the first match of this phase it was 2-2 at Cugir.
