He was only 19 years old, but his fate was cut short in a terrible accident on national road 6, in Ciochiuţa township, Mehedinţi county. Sonia had gotten her driver’s license a year ago, but even though she was a beginner, in a hurry to get home, the girl ignored the legal speed limit. His decision was fatal. The driver suddenly lost control of the steering wheel and went into the opposite direction, where she violently collided with a TIR that was moving normally. Two months ago, Sonia celebrated her birthday with her family and some friends. The girl had turned 19 and was enjoying life. Yesterday, however, the car that was given to him as a gift by his parents turned into a deadly trap. On the way home, the novice driver ignored the legal speed limit. In a fraction of a second he lost control of the steering wheel.
