The Timișoara City Council approved the regulation of the campaign “Timișoara decides!” 2024, through which projects proposed by the community will be financed from the local budget.

“The residents of Timișoara are once again invited to actively participate in the governance of the city and in setting priorities for spending an amount of 4 million lei from the local budget.

By submitting projects, contributing to the proposals submitted by other people through questions, suggestions, additions and voting, the people of Timișoara have the opportunity to decide how to invest this money for the benefit of the community. The third edition comes with a series of specific objectives, including allocating the total budget equally to the eight defined areas, with the aim of increasing the territorial distribution of the winning projects. Also, project proposals aimed at increasing social cohesion and the quality of life in neighborhoods are encouraged, through initiatives regarding green spaces, playgrounds, common spaces (pedestrian areas, squares, squares), spaces dedicated to sports and others,” he said. sent to Timișoara City Hall.

  • project analysis: July 1-August 14
