Police officers of the Criminal Investigation Service of the Sălaj County Police Inspectorate have identified and investigated a 21-year-old young man from Cizer, Sălaj county, suspected of committing the crime of attempted aggravated robbery.
From the investigations carried out by the police, it emerged that, on the night of April 18/19 this year, around 00:30, he would have entered the premises of a restaurant in the municipality of Zalău, with his face and hands covered, and would have threatened the employee of the restaurant, requesting to offer him money.
Thus, following the administration of probation, the police officers of the Criminal Investigation Service ordered the detention of the 21-year-old in the Detention and Preventive Arrest Center of the Sălaj County Police Inspectorate for 24 hours.
On Wednesday, May 1st, he will be presented to a prosecutor from the Prosecutor’s Office attached to the Zalău District Court, in order to order the necessary legal measures.
The police officers of the Criminal Investigation Service continue the investigations, under the supervision of a prosecutor from the Prosecutor’s Office attached to the Zalău District Court, in order to document the entire criminal activity of the young man in question, in a criminal file prepared under the aspect of committing the crime of attempted robbery.
