On Tuesday, the government approves two major projects in the field of sports that honor two great athletes of the country: the Gheorghe Hagi stadiums in Constanţa and the Nicolae Dobrin stadiums in Pitesti, Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu announced on Tuesday in the Government meeting.

“We also have two major projects in the field of sports through which we honor two great athletes of the country and I would like to thank Gică Popescu, with whom I consulted in this regard. The first is the stadium named after our great footballer “Gheorghe Hagi”, in Constanta. It is a project of almost 100 million euros, with 18,000 seats”, Prime Minister Ciolacu announced.

The Prime Minister specified that the second is the stadium named “Nicolae Dobrin”, in honor of this exceptional Romanian footballer.

“The stadium in Pitest will cost around 75 million euros and will have 15,200 seats,” he also said.
