A 54-year-old driver, from Alba county, lost control of the steering wheel on the National Road 7 CC, in the Călimăneşti locality, and ended up in the Olt river. Fortunately, the event resulted only in material damage.
According to IPJ Vâlcea, from the first checks carried out, it was established that on the National Road 7 CC, in the town of Călimănești, for reasons to be determined following the investigations, the driver of a road train, a 54-year-old man from Alba county, would lost control over the direction of travel leaving the roadway, being projected into the Olt river, near the Călimănești dam.
“The road accident resulted only in material damage. The driver was tested with the breathalyzer, the result was negative. In the case, investigations are being carried out to establish the causes and circumstances of the road accident”, reports IPJ Vâlcea, quoted by newsflux.ro.
