The “Lucian Blaga” Opera Omnia National Poetry Prize will be awarded on Thursday, May 9, starting at 11:00 a.m., at the “Lucian Blaga” Memorial House in Lancram. The event is in its eighth edition.

It is organized by the Alba County Council, the Romanian Writers’ Union, the “Lucian Blaga” Alba County Library, the City Hall and the Local Council of Sebeș Municipality and the “Lucian Blaga” Sebeș Cultural Center.

Starting with 2017, on the initiative of the Romanian Writers’ Union – Alba-Hunedoara branch, a national prize for poetry named after the great man of culture Lucian Blaga was established. This was a more than natural and necessary step, so that in this way a tribute was paid to the great man of culture born in Lancram, say the organizers.
