All seven candidates who participated in a psychological test in a competition for a position in the Arad Penitentiary were declared unfit, which raised suspicions of fraud on the part of some competitors, who say that only one candidate who passed the test previously and for which equivalence was made, he can now obtain the position of legal advisor, reports Agerpres.

On April 19, the psychological testing took place for nine candidates registered for the competition for a vacant position of officer (legal advisor) in the Arad Penitentiary. Seven candidates presented themselves, one being absent, and another missing because he had the test taken on another occasion (being valid for one year) and the equivalence was made.

According to the results posted on the website of the National Penitentiary Administration, all seven candidates who participated in the test were declared unfit. Under these conditions, only the candidate who obtained the equivalence remained in the race for the position.

One of the candidates declared unfit said on Tuesday, for Agerpres, that he suspects a fraud in the contest

“It is an unprecedented situation, to be declared unfit for all the contestants present. We were experienced girls, legal advisors, heads of legal departments, lawyers, clerks, well-trained, intelligent girls, employed in prestigious environments, it is extremely difficult for me to believe that none of us fit the profile. Upon a brief analysis of the results table, you almost want to believe that it was ‘ordered from above’, that only the mysterious person who had already taken the test and did not even show up for the test on April 19, remained in the game. said a contestant.

Contacted by AGERPRES, the penitentiary psychologist who tested the candidates, Paul Popa, stated that he followed all the procedures and denied any intervention to favor any person.

“Of course I can’t talk to you about the notices, imagine the legal reasons behind this discussion, that’s why I can’t talk to you about the notices themselves. What I can tell you is that it is a procedure that was completely respected, there is even the possibility of contesting it and I think that those who are dissatisfied have done it or will do it”, said Paul Popa.

He added that those who have doubts about the correctness of the contest “do not have all the information to make such a statement”.

Contacted by AGERPRES, the representatives of the Arad Penitentiary summed up by saying that “people who were recaptured during the psychological test have the opportunity to file an appeal”.
