The weekend was an exceptional one for the juniors C from CSM Târgu Jiu, who won the games played this weekend in the County Championship. In the 16th stage, the 2009 Group of CSM Târgu Jiu recorded one of the most decisive victories of this season, 10-0 against ACS Viitorul.

With this victory, the team of Alin Poenaru and Cătălin Trofin won the County Championship at junior C level. The football section of CSM Târgu Jiu, which won the title of Gorj county champion at junior C level, after Group 2009 won the County Championship, 2023-2024 edition. The team trained by Alin Poenaru and Cătălin Trofin won 10-0 against the ACS Viitorul Târgu Jiu group and became the county champion with two stages before the end. The match with ACS Viitorul was at the discretion of the CSM players. The 2009 group will represent Gorj county in the zonal phase at junior C level.
