The rehabilitation of streets and sidewalks in Satu Mare continues this year as well. Work will be done on both banks of the Someș, but capital repairs are also being prepared at the Decebal Bridge. Today there was an intervention in the area of ​​Mihai Viteazul Street in the Old Center of Satu Mare, which is why traffic restrictions were temporarily instituted.

New streets are to be rehabilitated this year, both on the right and left banks of the Satu Mare municipality. According to the authorities, on the right bank of the Someș, streets such as Aurel Vlaicu, Dreptătăii, Mărășești, Sighișoara, Odobescu, Sinaia, Ardealului, Martirilor Deportăti, Petru Maior, Titu Maiorescu, Fragilor, Tudor Vladimirescu and Voltaire will be repaired.

Also, interventions are planned at the level of the carriageway and on Henri Coandă, in Piața Romană, on Wolfenbuttel, Aviatorilor, Sighișoara, ICBrătianu, Iuliu Maniu and Ialomiței streets. In addition to that, this year, work also begins on the bike paths that will connect the Golescu Bridge to the sewage treatment plant and the Satu Mare – Dorolț track.

On the left bank of the Someș, the streets Postăvaru, Amațiului, Dima Gheorghe, Grigore Alexandrescu, Măcinului, Păpădiai, Magnoliai, Baladei, Dacia and Ecaterina Teodoroiu will be rehabilitated, with planned works on the sidewalks on the first section of the Lucian Blaga boulevard, on the Golescu bridge, on Basarabiei Street, Zimbrului and Ferestrau Station. At the level of the roadway, there will be intervention on Cloșca, Sănătății boulevard and in the South Industrial Park area.
