At the moment the fire on Spicului street is located. So far, no victims have been identified,” reports ISU Bucharest.

“We are intervening to extinguish a fire at a disused hall on Spicului Street, in sector 1 of Bucharest. When the first emergency crews arrived, it was burning at the roof level on an area of approximately 650 m². Three fire trucks with water and foam, an intervention and rescue ladder at height and a SMURD ambulance were alerted,” ISU Bucharest told us.

Later, due to the large surface on which the fire manifests itself, the device was supplemented with seven more fire trucks.

UPDATE According to the HotNews reporter present at the scene, the fire was located.

UPDATE A Ro-Alert was also issued by which citizens are asked not to block the access routes to the fire and to respect the recommendations of the authorities.

“Major fire, with large releases of smoke, occurred on Spicului Street. Go around/avoid the area. Leave the access routes clear for the intervention forces. Follow the recommendations issued by the authorities”.

UPDATE Clotile Armand, on Facebook: It was harder for the fire engines to enter because it was built chaotically

“We have several crews of the Local Police in the area of the fire in the north of the Capital, we support the teams of firefighters and the Road Brigade. People living in the vicinity of the affected area who need support or accommodation can call the Emergency Service within DGASPC Sector 1- 0734.454.543

Fire trucks with water and foam had a harder time entering the narrow streets because they are areas where chaotic construction took place, with the consent of the former administrations that gave building permits based on fringes and party interests. We asked the Department of Urban Planning to check the two fires that took place today in Sector 1, who are the owners of the affected buildings and what notices were issued in these areas, wrote the mayor of Sector 1 on Facebook.

UPDATE Due to the large area on which the fire is spreading, the device was supplemented with seven more special fire trucks, ISU announces.
