A woman from Olt County died after being stabbed in the street by her husband. He was 37 years old.
It happens in Drăgănești-Olt.
“On April 29, 2024, at around 3:00 p.m., the Olt County Police Inspectorate was notified, by calling 112, about the fact that a man allegedly stabbed a woman, on Căpitan Dragănescu Street in the city of Dragănești-Olt , after which he would have fled in an unknown direction. The policemen from the Dragănești-Olt Police went to the scene. From the first checks, the police established the fact that a 37-year-old man from Sprâncenata commune, while he was on Căpitan Drăgănescu street, in the city of Drăgănești-Olt, against the backdrop of an intra-family conflict, would have applied his 37-year-old wife, several blows with a sharp-cutting object in the thoraco-pectoral area. The woman was transported to the Slatina Emergency County Hospital, where she died. Following the investigative-operative activities, the police identified the man suspected of committing the act on Livezilor Street in the city of Drăgănești-Olt, and he was taken to the police headquarters for questioning. Also, a complex research team from the Olt Criminal Investigation Service and the Olt Forensic Service went to the site to carry out the on-site investigation under the coordination of the case prosecutor, from the Prosecutor’s Office attached to the Olt Court, to be legal measures ordered.” – IPJ Olt
