Well, six contraventional sanctions, totaling 6,000 lei, were applied by the law enforcement officers on this occasion, they also confiscated approximately 5 cubic meters of wood material for which the legal provenance could not be justified.

The press office of IPJ Argeș also came up with examples from these actions. The policemen from Rucăr, for example, detected in traffic, on Râului street in Stoenești, a van driven by a 28-year-old man from Lerești, which was transporting 1,217 cubic meters of wood material, without having documents to justify its legal provenance or documents accompanying the respective transport
On the same day, the policemen from Schitu Golești detected in traffic, within the radius of the commune of Godeni, a 47-year-old man from Schitu Golești, who was transporting 1.1 cubic meters of wood, with a hypo hitch, without having, as well , provenance or accompanying documents.
As a result of the detected violations, the two were penalized with a fine of 1,000 lei each, and the wooden material was confiscated and handed over to the representatives of the Câmpulung Forestry and, respectively, the Mihaesti Experimental Base.
