A driver “decidedly” drove in the prohibited direction on Bdul 15 Noiembrie in Braşov, after he probably wanted to try a “shortcut”
When you know a “shortcut”, it doesn’t matter if you drive in the wrong direction. A driver demonstrated it one morning on B-dul 15 Noiembrie. As at that time there were quite a few cars in traffic, from the intersection with Calea Bucureşti (Trei Alimentare) he thought that he would reach Verii street more easily by turning directly left towards the wooden Church, where it is one-way to Calea Bucureşti – Zizin.
The scene was captured by another traffic participant, who made the footage public on Sunday, April 28. He was amazed by the stupidity of the driver who ignored several signs and markings and had no excuse for making the wrong turn. Unfortunately, the camera wasn’t exactly a high-performance one to capture his registration number, but there are enough surveillance cameras in the intersection, so the police could identify the “brave” in the context in which he could have caused an incident quite serious if the traffic was heavier.
