Potaissa Turda won the duel with CSM Sighisoara and secured her place in the Top 4 (VIDEO)

Potaissa Turda prevailed today, score 43-33, in front of those from CSM Sighișoara and ensured its presence in the Top 4 at the end of the championship.

In front of an extremely large audience, the “magnificents” started the match perfectly and were 10-2 ahead after only 13 minutes. Popescu was excellent in goal, the defense went perfectly, and the difference was seen on the scoreboard.

The guests “threatened” by relegation tried to get back on the scoreboard, but Turda managed to manage the end of the half perfectly.

At halftime, Potaissa had a seven-goal lead, 20-13.

The guests’ good play continued and Sighisoara reduced the difference to three goals (25-22, min 42).

Potaissa returned to the helm of the game and scored the next five goals (30-22, min 45), managing to solve the problem of the winner.

At the end of the match, Horațiu Gal also gave chances to the young players, and Darius Rusu took full advantage, managing to score three times from as many shots on goal.

The atmosphere in the hall in Turda was superb, the Turda audience was at its height throughout the game.

It ended 43-33 and Potaissa ensured its presence in the Top 4. In order to evolve in the European cups next season, Potaissa needs CSM Bucharest not to play the final of the Romanian Cup.

Turzia’s next match will take place on May 19, when Potaissa will play on the field of Steaua Bucharest.

On the other side, CSM Sighișoara will play a real final, on home soil, with CSM Vaslui. If the Muresians lose, or the match ends in a draw, Vasluiul continues in the first league and Sighisoara is relegated. If Sighisoara beats, Vasluiul is relegated.
