The arrival of the Easter holidays blocked the activity of carpet cleaners in the municipality of Târgu-Jiu. Since during this period all the housewives are working around the household and cleaning for Easter, the carpet cleaners can no longer take orders due to the very high volume of work.
“I want to tell you that we can no longer receive carpets for washing because we actually cannot cope. We have hundreds of rugs to finish before the holidays and can’t take any more orders. We hope to fit in with these as well so as not to disappoint the customers”.
There are carpet cleaners who have also tried to make appointments, but even here the requests are very high.
“We have been working with appointments for several years. We also make appointments two months before the holidays, and our customers know this. We take the carpets from the home and take them to us, and in this way we avoid crowding, because there are still people who don’t come in time to pick them up, and to avoid that, we take them home. Even so, we do not guarantee that if we take orders now they will be ready in due time”.
To wash carpets, bargain hunters take out of their pockets several hundred lei depending on the size.
