IASI. After a long time I saw a weak first half in the play-out between “Poli Iasi” and UTA. The hosts, fearing not to lose, didn’t risk anything, while UTA was satisfied with quite a bit, as if they took the opponent’s pulse.
This is how it happens that in 45 minutes we scored only two shots from distance by Marchioni, plus an intervention by Fl. Iacob, like in handball. UTA had only half an opportunity, when R. Pop hit a ball from outside the box, the trajectory was a curious one, but Lung caught it.
The second part, on the other hand, was completely different. UTA started very well, and in min. 61 could score, but R. Pop’s shot was blocked at the last moment. A minute later it was still 0-1. R. Pop received a ball from Omondi, on the left, entered the box, sent in front of the goal, from where Eizekel scored.
After the goal, the Moldovans started to press, they had two dangerous corners, but Stolnik saved each time. Bouhenna then sent wide of the goal from in front of the small box.
UTA counterattacked very dangerously in the min. 82, when Ilie hooked the ball in front of Omondi, who was left alone with the goalkeeper Lung. Meanwhile, the referee Chivulete gave a penalty to the hosts, but canceled it after he was called to review the phase at the VAR camera. UTA scored for 0-2 in the minute. 83, when Luckassen escaped from the offside limit and beat Lung with a shot from the box.
That’s how it ended, and UTA climbed to the top of the play-out.
