The Romanian delegation perfectly finished the participation in the Rowing EC from Szeged, Hungary, the women’s 8+1 crew winning the gold medal.

In the queen’s rowing event, our girls won the gold medals.
Magdalena Rusu, Roxana Anghel, Adriana Adam, Maria Lehaci, Mădălina Bereş, Amalia Bereş, Ioana Vrînceanu, Simona Radiş and Victoria-Ştefania Petreanu finished with a time of 06 min 32 sec 00/100.
They were followed on the podium by Great Britain (06:35.16) and Italy (06:37.41).
Romania finished in second place in the final EC standings, after Great Britain (8-1-1). The tricolor delegation will return home with eight medals: four gold, two silver and two bronze.
We remind you that at the 2023 edition of the European Championships, held in Bled (Slovenia), Romania won six medals, including five gold and one silver.
