On the evening of April 27 this year, starting at 6:00 p.m., until the night of April 28, at 02:00 a.m., a “Razie” type action was organized in Dolj county, with increased forces, to ensure a climate of order and public safety, increasing the degree of road safety and preventing, combating anti-social acts and the trafficking and consumption of psychoactive substances.
As part of the action, 222 police officers from public order structures, traffic police, forensics, criminal investigations, economic crime investigation, weapons, explosives and dangerous substances and fighters of the Special Actions Service were mobilized. Along with the policemen, there were also 56 gendarmes from the Dolj County Gendarmerie Inspectorate and the Craiova Mobile Gendarmerie Group, as well as eight border policemen. The action aimed at preventing and combating any acts of violence on the street, in bars and in the area of companies with the profile of gambling halls and sports betting, as well as detecting road traffic participants who violate the legal rules regarding traffic on public roads. As part of the activities carried out, 914 people were checked and authenticated (through the DAC application), 88 commercial companies and 587 vehicles were checked and controlled. “For the detected violations, 178 contraventional sanctions were applied, in the total amount of 83,900 lei, of which 121 were for non-compliance with the provisions of the Government’s Emergency Ordinance no. 195/2002 regarding traffic on public roads, republished, with subsequent amendments and additions, 41 for non-compliance with the provisions of Law no. 61/1991 regarding the sanctioning of acts of violation of some norms of social coexistence, public order and tranquility, republished, with subsequent amendments and additions. Also, a contraventional sanction was applied for non-compliance with the provisions of the Government’s Emergency Ordinance no. 301/2012 regarding the protection of objectives, goods, values and the protection of persons, two contraventional sanctions for non-compliance with the provisions of Government Ordinance no. 28/1999, and 13 other sanctions being applied to other normative acts. At the same time, the law enforcement found flagrant misdemeanors and seven crimes.
