A two-year-old fell into a puddle while the adults were preparing a barbecue. The incident took place on Saturday, on a private property from Iohanisfeld, Timișoara, informs Antenna3.
The two-year-old was playing with other children when the accident happened. He had come with his family to visit some relatives who had arrived from the United States. They were playing with other children while apparently his parents, along with the other adults, were preparing to have a barbecue. In a moment of inattention, the little one slipped and fell into the fishing pond.
His father saw him and immediately jumped after him into the deep water, succeeding in a short time in bringing him to shore. He was also the one who resuscitated the little two-year-old.
The other relatives immediately called the ambulance. Doctors found him in cardiac arrest and luckily managed to revive him. Then they transported him to the Children’s Hospital in Timișoara.
The police have drawn up a criminal case for culpable bodily harm. They are trying to find out how it all happened and if it was negligence on the part of the adults.
