He didn’t even break a sweat. Flavius Biea from Timișoara achieved a clear victory by defeating his opponent Darleys Perez, on Saturday night, in the Gala Biea Fighting Championship 4.
The first round was balanced, then the second was dominated by the Romanian, and the Colombian withdrew after two rounds, citing an arm injury. So, technical KO and an easy victory for the Timisoara native against a 40-year-old South American, who turned out to be nothing more than “cannon fodder”. According to boxingrec, Flavius now has 23 wins and one defeat, and in May he puts his belt on the line in a gala in Craiova.
One of the most interesting matches of the evening was played by Claudiu Ienci from Timisoara, who KO’d his opponent, Tudor Costeniuc from Moldova, after only two rounds, to the applause of the hall. Experienced Mihai Nistor didn’t have any problems either, winning by KO against the Colombian David Zegarra, at 91 kg.
Disappointment, however, in another fight… which was not contested. Cristian Ciocan was supposed to face the Czech Pavel Sour, but he did not show up because he was injured.
