Bogdan Marișca is present every year at the race in Harghita. He is also the longest-serving driver in the championship: his first rally was in 1993.

Bogdan Marişca: We are happy and satisfied to be able to start after so many years and so many times in Harghita. I also won my first rally here. Let’s finish well and enjoy the race. It’s a tough race, a difficult race, the tests are very selective and demanding, so we hope we all finish well and enjoy it.

The winner will be announced tonight

Fresh from winning in Europe, Simone Tempestini remains optimistic despite starting with technical problems.

Simone Tempestini: It is the championship of my soul, in which I learned to drive to the limit and practically my participations from now on will be those of being present and feeling good with the fans and spectators of Romanian motorsport.

Raul Badiu is the leader of the Harghita rally, and this year he is participating with a new car.

Raul Badiu: A Skoda Fabia Rally2 evo. I feel like in the first stage, I mean I have emotions, but fortunately the car is very fast and friendly, so we quickly get into the rhythm and have a good feeling.

The title fight will end tonight.
