“At home in Banat” association initiated, as in previous years, the “Gift from Gift” campaign, which aims to collect and distribute with the help of volunteers food for needy families, in borderline situations, or for the lonely elderly in Timiș and Caraș-Severin, out of the desire to give them a little joy for the Easter Holidays.

“We are preparing to reach again dozens of families from Timiș and Caraș-Severin who have nothing to put on the holiday table. Our campaign is one of the soul, which we have been running for five years and through which we have transported over 1,500 packages to over 100 localities in the two counties. We don’t just bring food, but hope, trust and joy for these people, lest they be forgotten”, is the call made by the president of the association, Radu Trifan.

Those who want to contribute to the campaign can make a donation to the account of the “Home in Banat” association, mentioning the name of the campaign: Dar din Dar or they can offer non-perishable food packages within their validity period. The association’s volunteers will use the donated money to buy basic non-perishable food, especially canned meat, vegetables, compotes, but also oil, sugar, corn and rice, fruit, potatoes, as well as hygiene products and some sweets.

The campaign is also supported by the Timișoara Regional Food Bank.

Those who want to offer packages or join as volunteers can contact the association on the Facebook page or at the email address [email protected] or make donations to the following accounts of the association:
