The President of the Bihor County Council, Ilie Bolojan, signed on Tuesday, at the Ștei Town Hall, with Beneamin Rus, as a representative of the company Precon Transilvania SRL, the contract for the construction of the Ștei Intelligent Specialization Park, which will be able to accommodate 25 investors.

The mayor of Ștei, Iulian Balaj, also participated in the initialing of the document.

The works will be executed by an association formed by Precon Transilvania, as leader, and Citadina 98.

According to a statement also sent by CJ Bihor on Tuesday, the value of the contract is 17.9 million lei, excluding VAT, and the execution term is 6 months. With VAT included, the investment exceeds 21.3 million lei.

“The Ștei industrial park will be an economic anchor for the revitalization of the area. As happened in Oradea, the network of industrial parks in the county will bring jobs closer to people. In parallel with the works, we will start the concession procedure for the 25 plots in the park. The companies will have 4.4 million euros at their disposal, European grants”, said Ilie Bolojan, according to the CJ press release.

Bolojan refers to the fact that the European project also includes pre-reserved funds for future companies that will establish themselves there, as they must meet certain conditions regarding the technologies used.

With regard to the actual development of the industrial park, the works will involve the creation of access, the provision of the network of internal streets, the provision of water supply, the installation of a transformer station, the provision of low-voltage electricity to the plots, the provision of public lighting, etc.

The project was started by the City Hall of Ștei, which carried out the feasibility study. The site was taken over by the Bihor County Council to continue the investment. The land has an area of ​​13.6 hectares, and the 25 plots have areas between 1,800 and 9,000 square meters. Ștei Industrial Park has direct access to National Road 75.

Financing for the development of the park is provided by the Regional Operational Program 2021-2027 (40%) and from the budget of the Bihor County Council (60%).

We remind you that, last week, CJ Bihor signed contracts with the company Dumexim for the construction of similar parks in Alesd and Beiuș, and with Leko Construct a contract for the development of the one in Marghita.
