The Ministry of Energy announced that it supports the DNA prosecutors’ investigation at the Oltenia Energy Complex and will provide all the requested information.
The Minister of Energy, Sebastian Burduja, states that he has “zero tolerance for any act of corruption”.
“The Ministry of Energy is uncompromising towards any corruption activity. That’s why the Minister’s Control Body was sent every time reports were made regarding possible illegal activities, and when it detected deviations from the law, measures were ordered to report to the competent Prosecutor’s Office”, they sent ministry officials.
Partly real. The Ministry of Energy also supported a highly questionable procedure for electing directors. Although he sent the Control Body, which found a conflict on the acquisition of the executive recruitment firm, ARC Consulting SRL, he did nothing to stop the selection process, already proven to be extremely dubious.
Burduja also stated that he does not accept acts of corruption.
“One of the fundamental principles that guide me is simple: Zero tolerance for any act of corruption. The Ministry of Energy is at the disposal of the criminal investigation bodies with any information that can help the investigation and accurately establish the facts and the culprits”.
