Dolj: PSD has submitted the candidacy of Cosmin Vasile for a new mandate as president of the County Council

The Social Democratic Party submitted, on Thursday, to the Dolj County Electoral Office, the candidacy of Cosmin Vasile for a new mandate as president of the County Council, as well as the list of candidates for the election of county councilors.

Cosmin Vasile, who is president of CJ Dolj since 2020, said that he considers the four years in which he held this position very good, with big projects and important achievements, which have never been in the history of the County Council in such a number of projects, as well as allocated funds and attracted European funds.

“In these four years, we wanted to offer the community and people of Dolj good roads, quality public services, quality health services, investments in culture, in education,” said Cosmin Vasile.

He stated that he is embarking on a new path, together with integrity, honest and professional people, who have the opportunity to get involved in the biggest transformation process of Dolj county.

“Those who have proven that they can lead the alert pace of Dolj County Council’s activity remain in the new formula, and we are strengthening our team with young people and experienced people. I am convinced that we, as a party, made the most appropriate choice, but it is important that those who come to the polls understand the power of their vote and contribute to the stability of the future county council. I am committed to the continuation of large development projects and unprecedented initiatives for our community”, said Cosmin Vasile in relation to the list of PSD candidates for the positions of county councilor and the projects with which they present themselves to the voters.

Cosmin Vasile, a lawyer by profession, is 45 years old and has 20 years of experience in administration, being a county councilor since 2004, vice-president for two terms and president of CJ Dolj since 2020.

Cosmin Vasile, Antonie Solomon, former mayor of Craiova and current vice-president of CJ Dolj, Mihai Neaţu Breciuga, current vice-president of CJ Dolj, Cosmin Durle, public administrator of Dolj county, Carmen Velişcu are on the first places on the PSD list for the positions of county councilor , county councillor, Claudia Stamatescu, Gheorghe Bică – county councillor.

The County Electoral Office admitted both the candidacy of Cosmin Vasile and the list of candidates for the positions of county councilor.
