The Dinu Lipatti Arts High School in Pitesti won the School of the Future competition, organized by the Dan Voiculescu Foundation for the Development of Romania.

Thus, the high school laboratory will be equipped with graphic tablets, an interactive whiteboard, and the teachers will be specialized in courses in Germany. Because there were many good projects submitted, the jury decided to award a special prize to another educational institution in the country.

Andrada Vlaicu, Andreea Ciobotea, Isabel Slabu, Alexandru Șerbănescu, Maria Georgiana Oncescu, Ana-Maria Șerban, Otilia Cârstea from the “Dinu Lipatti” Arts High School managed to win the competition by using the latest generation technologies. The students thought of a project to make the lessons much more interactive and interesting.

The winners of the competition will receive 26 WACOM graphics tablets for use by students and teachers in the laboratory, 1 Newline state-of-the-art interactive whiteboard, as well as training for the coordinating teacher and school principal at the WACOM headquarters in Dusseldorf, Germany.
