LPS BOTOSANI students are national champions in the Half Marathon

Between April 20 and 21, 2024, athletes from the athletics section of Botoșani High School with Sports Program participated in the Final of the National Half Marathon Championship for the U20 and Youth age categories, a competition organized by the Romanian Athletics Federation in Bucharest.

Botoșani High School with Sports Program entered the competition with two junior teams and a junior team that started alongside the best cross-country athletes in Romania.

And in the year 2024 Botoșani High School with Sports Program confirms at the national level through the athletics section, the boys team lined up at the start of the competition managing to impose themselves becoming national champions both in the U20 and Youth age categories.

The athletes who made this remarkable result possible are: Andrei Pașcanu, Ștefan Parasca, Victor Epure and Nemțuc Valentin.

The supremacy of the athletics section was also confirmed in the competition dedicated to girls, Botoșani High School with Sports Program lining up 2 teams at the start, winning the title of national champion here:

LPSBotoșani A: national champions in the U20 age category and vice-champions in the Youth age category. The team was formed by Ștefania Țicăleac, Alexandra Politic and Denisa Podariu.
LPS Botoșani B: national vice-champions in the U20 age category and bronze medal in the Youth age category. The team was formed by Crina Achihăiței, Andreea Focan and Ecaterina Cucu.
