The regulations of the Romanian Betano Cup underwent a series of changes following the meeting of the Executive Committee of the FRF on April 24, the federation announces on the official website.
Thus, in the group phase, only in the duel of the teams from the first value urn in stage 3, the home team will always be the first team drawn from the urn at the draw, that is, the team mentioned in the regulation as “1A”. In the rest of the games, starting with the 1st round and up to the group stage, the teams from the lower category or ranked lower in the previous championship will remain the organizers of the games.
Starting with the play-off phase, the organization expenses will be fully borne by the host team.
Also, the following program of the Romanian Betano Cup for the 2024-2025 season was validated, with the proviso that the rounds of the national phase preceding the play-off may undergo changes depending on the total number of teams participating in the competition:

The Executive Committee of the FRF also approved on Wednesday the calendar of the FRF competitions in the next season, the 2024-2025 edition.

- League 3: August 31, 2024
- Youth League: August 11, 2024
- U17 Elite League: August 11, 2024
- U16 Elite League: August 10, 2024
- U15 Elite League: August 10, 2024
- U14 Elite League: August 10, 2024
- U13 Elite League: August 10, 2024
- U19 National Championship: August 24, 2024
- U17 National Championship: August 24, 2024
