On Saturday, April 20, the 7th stage of the playout of the 4th Giurgiuvan League took place. Even in this stage, there were no absences from matches.
After Soimii Ghizdaru withdrew in the championship round, here now, another team from the Fourth League is withdrawing.
Omerta Stoienești has already announced to the county football forum that it will no longer continue in the play-out of the IV league, thus leaving the play-out of the northern series with only 7 teams.
Unfortunately, the Viitorul Vedea, Inter Valea Dragului, Omerta Stoenești teams did not show up for the scheduled games, and Gloria Comana stayed after the withdrawal of the Șoimii Ghizdaru team.
The score of the stage was recorded in Hobaia, where the Zmei Ogrezeni team won with a score of 6-1, in front of the local team, Maxima.
Unfortunately, things have not settled in terms of the composition of the two series of the IVth League, shepherded by AJF Giurgiu, where there are, year after year, the largest movements of troops, through withdrawals and no-shows, as well as those more unexpected maidan scores.
The weak level of the county competition, and especially in the IV League, were also the factors of failure at the promotion hurdles in the III League.
The responsibility of the AJF Giurgiu is so great that, inevitably, the requirement that should have been imposed gave way to the broad and unpretentious idea of representation.
It is something that should give thought to the Giurgiu forum, especially in the situation where, in recent years, only one team has won the play-off match, this being “Dănărea Giurgiu”. Without the Giurgiuvian AJF having any merit… that’s why when asked where we stand, the answer is: “We’re standing in line!”
