Gabriela Firea: Real estate sharks are invented by USR. There are good sharks and bad sharks in real estate in Bucharest

The PSD candidate for the Capital City Hall, Gabriela Firea, says that the subject of “real estate sharks” was invented by the opposition to fight against it and that these “real estate sharks” are “some good and some bad”.

“I want to make a clarification about a subject that is much emphasized, including in this electoral campaign, and which I think was negatively speculated by political opponents in the previous campaign as well. It was also said about me and Robert Negoiţă and Daniel Băluţă: OK, they did things in the Capital, but they sided with the real estate sharks”, said Firea at the launch event of PSD candidate Daniel Băluţă for a new mandate in Sector 4, according to Agerpres.

She emphasized that she wants “with all responsibility, with all strength and with all professional and especially legal arguments” to dismantle “this toxic campaign theme”.

“And anyone who wants to come and tell me that what I say is not true should come with arguments, not with slogans. What are real estate sharks? In the minds of those who sit hidden in offices and do nothing and blame aliens for their helplessness, real estate sharks are bad people who put their investments, their strength, their work in the service of evil, in the service of what is not well, beyond the fact that humanity was built through work, through investments, through capital.

I believe that the business environment must be the friend of each of us because the entrepreneurial environment creates jobs, business people take risks and pay taxes and duties to the state and must be the partner of any normal and professional society and the representatives of this society, regardless that we are talking about councillors, mayors, presidents of county councils, ministers, parliamentarians. What is important is how we treat this relationship with respect for the benefit of the citizens, not for our benefit and not for the personal benefit of the businessmen, the rules must be respected, the laws must be friendly to people, absolutely transparent discussions for what investments mean”, he supported by the social democrats.

Gabriela Firea added that “they say about the social democrats” that they want to block the capitals, “to flee the capitals to other European countries, to other capitals”, claiming that those from the USR are the ones who invented “these sharks”.

“No, we on the left want to have well-paid jobs for employees and we want to have development for the city, and the citizens of the city of Bucharest, during this period of total freezing, benefited from the price increase of all apartments by over 30% because this hallucinatory explanation was found – let’s stop building in Bucharest because the sharks are coming”, she continued.

Firea showed that it is known “who obtained authorizations in these four years”.

“It’s blocked for everyone, but not for friends, because what to see, there are good sharks, nice and kind sharks that have activated even now, during this period, and we see them. This is the manipulation, this is the campaign based on lies and hatred and especially misinformation, and we can only fight if the citizens are with us. We would like to destroy another myth – the myth that social-democratic mayors are only capable of social projects, as they are called. I think we are aware that throughout our lives we must take care of the development of communities, but also of each individual.

Let the citizens decide, let them choose on June 9 what is good – let’s continue with a lot of work, with a lot of dedication, tenacity, solutions or let’s go at this slow pace of Bucharest where good luck with sectors 3 and 4 that have always shown how do you differentiate between mayors who lock themselves in their offices and easily find explanations for why they can’t achieve those goals and all the time blame the heavy legacy”, said the PSD candidate at the Capital City Hall.
