Craiova University, fighting for the Conference League positions, and FCSB, virtual champion of Romania, meet in the game that ends the 8th stage of the SuperLiga play-off.
Craiova University is in 3rd place, with 39 points, two more than Farul, which is 4th and has already played in this round, and comes after four wins and three defeats in the play-off, and in the previous stage imposed on the field of Rapid, score 2-1.
The team coached by Costel Gâlcă won once, 2-1 with Rapid, and lost twice, 1-2 with Farul and 0-1 with CFR Cluj, in the matches played at home in the play-off (in the regular season it ticked seven successes, five draws and three failures at home), and the top scorer of Olten is Alexandru Mitriţă, with 13 successes in the SuperLiga.

FCSB, leader with 49 points and already mathematically champion, is the only undefeated team in the play-off, with five wins and two draws, and in the previous stage they prevailed on their own ground against those from Farul, score 2-1 .
In the away matches in this play-off, the team coached by Elias Charalambous won twice, 1-0 with Farul and 1-0 with CFR Cluj, and drew once, 2-2 with Sepsi (in the regular season he ticked off nine successes, four draws and two failures on foreign grounds), and the best scorer of the red-blues is Florinel Coman, with 18 goals.
“We will use the players who are in the best form, the best formula, because we want to win. We will try to win everything, break every possible record! We are more relaxed now and I think the players will perform much better”, said Elias Charalambous.
FCSB prevailed in all three games played in this championship with Craiova University, without conceding a goal, 3-0 at home, in the round (Olaru 13, 45, Radunovic 21), and 3-0 away, in the return leg (Olaru 45 +8p, Fl. Coman 50, Miculescu 83), in the regular season, and 2-0 at home in the first play-off match (Fl. Coman 29, Vlădoiu 32a).
