Special menu on the occasion of Easter for people in social protection units within DGASPC Gorj

The General Directorate of Social Assistance and Child Protection (DGASPC) Gorj is preparing for a joyful atmosphere for those in its care on the occasion of the Easter holidays.

“In a meticulous effort to welcome this festive moment, the accommodation and dining areas undergo an extensive cleaning and sanitization process so that every beneficiary enjoys optimal conditions.

Within this atmosphere full of color and creativity, thematic activities are carried out, such as painting eggs and making greeting cards and ornaments, which will beautify the locations where children and adults from the protection system of DGASPC Gorj are housed. Moreover, the beneficiaries have the opportunity to participate in the religious services held during Holy Week, thus giving them the opportunity to experience the traditions and spirituality of this period”, said Laurențiu Diaconescu, general director of DGASPC Gorj.

Special menu for beneficiaries

People hospitalized in social protection institutions will have a special menu with traditional dishes specific to the Easter holidays. “They will serve dishes such as: red eggs, lamb shank, boeuf salad, roast lamb, sarmales, steaks, cozonac and homemade cakes. Thus, every meal becomes an occasion of joy and celebration for all involved.

In a gesture of solidarity and compassion, several big-hearted people chose to be with the beneficiaries of the protection system, donating them packages of sweets, fruits, vegetables and other products, thus bringing a touch of light into their lives .
